How We Work
YAWA expresses its concerns for the environment through C.A.R.E.S.
which stands for Challenges, Action, Reaching-out, Environmental Education
and Sustainability. It is committed to changing young lives.
With this concept, all activities are designed and focused to meet the
challenges, for young people to take action positively, to reach out to
children and the community, and provide them with environmental education
that will lead to sustainability of our future.
Young members are divided into 2 groups, JEGOM and EYCA. EYCA and JEGOM
activities are planned and organised as much as possible by small groups
of young people (Action Teams), with one adult coordinator to give minimal
input, guidance and assistance as required.
